The light is within

We often look for the light outside of ourselves, through relationships, materials, successes, money, fame, etc. but happiness is an inside job and is only up to us. You are going to be with yourself in the same body for the rest of your time here on earth. What you are seeking is already within you. There are days that I lose touch believing that everything will be okay. There are days I lose touch with my soul and there are days when the fire inside me is nothing more than embers and smoke. These are the most important moments to remind myself that there are moments in life that are so good.

Life is full of ups and downs, but there is reason and intention behind the variety of experiences we have. The universe would not give us this life if it didn't think we were strong and brave enough to handle Earth's experiences. We must be open to learning from all experiences and interactions with others. Life is our greatest teacher. When we have an inner relationship with ourselves we are already free.
