Death allows us to be alive

As living in the 21 century we can relate in the fact that many of us have the fear of pain and death. Something that I have realized in order to live a life that I don't regret, is being able to accept suffering of others and myself. Suffering is a universal experience and most of us try to avoid as much pain as possible. Suffering can lead to some windy, dark, scary roads. Sometimes not being able to recover which leads to death. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that some roads of suffering lead to not being able to come out of. I believe that everything is supposed to happen for a reason. Yes, it is very very hard to understand and accept the devastating amounts of pain that is felt in this world. Very hard. I often think about how some parts of the world people live more than comfortable with their rich houses, fancy cars, endless amounts of food, and water, spending $100's of dollars on things they want just because they want them. Compared to other parts of the world, people are trying to save every crumb from there meal because they don't know when they would get there next meal, having to do all the hard labor of keeping a house and family together, while others have maids, babysitters, gardeners and house cleaners. It is truly mind boggling and hard to wrap my head around the fact that some people can live comfortably receiving everything they wish for while others are hoping they can live through the night. It's insane and upsetting. I still don't understand the amounts of pain people can feel. Suffering is a part of life and is unavoidable and necessary. We grow by losing, leaving and letting go. I've learned that in order to enjoy our time here on earth we must suffer. We must suffer in order to heal and get better. We must experience the harder times in order to be happy in other moments. Suffering allows new paths to be opened for healing and growth. We become stronger when we experience and go through tough and low points in our life. The fear of death has consumed us and led us to increase effort and healthcare dollars toward preserving life at all costs. We're on this earth to be taught certain spiritual truths. Life is our greatest teacher. Life is a gift that won't last which I am grateful for to be honest. If we were to live forever we wouldn't cherish life as much. Technology is advancing faster than most of us can keep up with, and also with the challenges we face on this planet. In order to prepare for the transitions the future has to bring us we must master certain spiritual tasks now. The quote "Live each day as if it's your last." is so important and so true. We don't know how long we will live this life. We often don't leave room for different views of the future and unexpected experiences. We don't leave room for change then what we thought it would turn out like. Then we are so shocked and overwhelmed with feelings which is hard to cope with. We cannot delay the necessary steps of growth any longer. We are planted in the garden at birth, not knowing what to expect. We cannot determine the sun, rain, wind, or hail that falls upon our gardens. As we experience the unexpected we are responsible to grow no matter the circumstances. We have the responsibility to use the factors that have been given to us to use or work around them. Forgive others and yourself as it will remove the obstacles on the path of healing and growth. These are goals that I am working toward so I can accept my death and live life with no regrets. Live in the moment, be grateful and everything life has to offer. Life is good!
